What Is a Lash Lift and Tint?
An eyelash lift and tint shapes and curls your eyelashes. This offers a semi-permanent hold. The treatment involves lifting each individual lash and then tinting them for thicker, darker looking lashes. This is a great alternative to lash extensions.
It is designed to enhance your natural eyelashes, meaning you won’t need to use an eyelash curler or mascara.
*Please note that a patch test is required 24 hours prior to treatment.
How to Maintain a Lash Lift and Tint
The first 24 hours are the most important when it comes to maintaining your eyelashes. Here are just a few tips on what not do after your treatment.
- Don’t get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours
- Don’t rub your lashes
- Don’t use makeup for the first 24 hours
- Don’t use harsh products on your eyes
- Don’t use oil-based products
- Avoid saunas and swimming
Follow these simple maintenance tips to maximise your lash lift.
How Long Does It Last?
The treatment usually lasts around six to eight weeks. This all depends on your lash growth cycle, and how well you look after your lashes. The lash growth cycle can vary from person to person. Unlike eyelash extensions, you won’t need a maintenance appointment. However, the process will need to be repeated every five to seven weeks to lift the newly grown eyelashes.
Things such as excessive heat, water, and harsh beauty products can weaken the lash lift. If your lash lift does drop, you can repeat the treatment but only after a minimum of four weeks and not before.
